Repositioning the Church to Do Exploits - Part 4
TEXT: 2 Chro. 2:5-6
Memory Verse: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17
Solomon said he wants to build a great house for God because God is great. This is his state of mind. Many people do not think this way, they do not see God during church projects, they see their denomination or their pastor. They think they are dealing with their church instead of God.
IF GOD ACCEPTS YOUR SACRIFICE THEN YOU ARE PRIVILEDGED
Sometimes, I see people behave as if they are been force to do the work of God. They forget that God is not a beggar. Building a house for God does not require ordinary things, God deserves our best. THESE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS REQUIRED WHEN BUILDING. a. Cement b. Iron Rods c. Sand d. Zinc e. Woods f. Nails g. Gravel h. Tiles i. Electrical Wires j. Plumbing materials k. Doors l. Windows etc. We have just mentioned few then money.
WHAT DO YOU THINK IS TOO BIG FOR YOUR GOD
- Many people complain that they are poor, but several are the cause of their poverty. Mark 12:41-44. When you devalue God in your mind or see Him as nothing, you give Him things that do not cost you anything and many of us are victims of this character, Mal. 1:6-8. The truth is when you value Him, your worship, giving, sacrifice, love, commitment and service will cost you according to your value for Him. Acts 4:34-37.
- Living according to God’s word on sacrificial giving connects you to a quality divine protection and great wealth of prosperity Job 36:10-12, while others suffers terrible shipwreck, poverty, destruction, shame, misery or breakdown through disobedience; you will be constantly swimming in the ocean of wealth. Job 22:21-30.
- Nothing rejoices the heart of God like coming back to say thank you when He has visited you in times of trouble. Psalms 66: 13-16, Luke 17:12-19. If it is difficult for you to sacrifice or give to God quality things, then your prayer for God to give you unusual, uncommon, extraordinary, outstanding, excellent blessings will be a foolish act. Gen.4:3-8
Forgetful Christians as always very sorrowful Christians. When you forget you disconnect your self from the vine, but if you are connected you bear real fruits that remain and abide. John 15:1-5. James 1:17-18; 22-27.
